Figimi Player

Terms of Use

Figimi IPTV Player · Last updated: September 15, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Figimi IPTV Player application for macOS, iOS and iPadOS, provided by Aymen Lasfar / Figimi, Braga, Portugal. By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

This document is the end-user licence agreement for the application. Your purchase of any subscription is also subject to Apple’s terms for the App Store.

1. What the app is

Figimi IPTV Player is a media player. It contains no channels, films, series or other media, and it does not host, index, aggregate, curate, sell, resell or redistribute any content. It provides no IPTV subscription and no access to any content service.

Everything you watch comes from a third-party service that you obtain separately and configure yourself, using credentials that only you hold. Figimi has no relationship with those providers, receives no payment from them, and cannot grant, restore or troubleshoot your access to them.

2. Your responsibilities

You agree that:

We do not verify, endorse, monitor or accept responsibility for any third-party source, and we cannot be held responsible for content you choose to access.

3. Demo content

The app includes a small demo catalogue so the player can be tried before a source is added. It uses streams published for public testing by Apple, Mux and Unified Streaming, including “Tears of Steel” by the Blender Foundation, which is released under a Creative Commons licence. The demo exists to demonstrate playback and is not a content service. These endpoints are operated by third parties and may change or become unavailable.

4. Licence

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the application on devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms and the usage rules that apply to your Apple Account. You may not copy, redistribute, sell, rent, sublicense, reverse engineer or attempt to derive the source code of the application, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits it.

The application includes third-party open-source components, including VLCKit / libVLC, which remain subject to their own licences.

5. Subscriptions

The app is free to use, and every playback feature works without any purchase. The optional subscription removes in-app promotional prompts. It does not unlock playback, sources, formats, quality or any other player capability, and it does not provide any content.

Auto-renewable subscription products:

Prices above are for the United States storefront. You are charged in your local currency at the price the App Store displays for your region, which may differ due to local pricing and taxes.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple Account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends. The length of each subscription period is one month or one year, as chosen at purchase.

Introductory offers are available once per subscription group per Apple Account, and eligibility is determined by Apple. Both products belong to the same subscription group, so switching between them is an upgrade or downgrade handled by Apple rather than a separate purchase.

Subscriptions are a universal purchase: one subscription covers the macOS, iOS and iPadOS versions of the app on the same Apple Account.

6. Cancellation and refunds

You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your App Store account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not shorten the period you have already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Apple processes all payments, and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies. We are not able to issue refunds directly. Consumers in the European Union and other jurisdictions may have additional statutory rights, which these terms do not limit.

7. Availability and changes

We may add, change or remove features, and may release updates that change how the app behaves. Features that depend on third parties, including provider catalogues, program guide sources and stream formats, may stop working for reasons outside our control. We may update these terms when the app or applicable law changes; the current version is always published at this URL.

8. No warranty

The application is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

In particular, we do not warrant that any specific provider, playlist, portal, stream, container format, codec or program guide will work, or that playback will be uninterrupted or error-free. IPTV providers routinely change endpoints, throttle connections, restrict devices and go offline without notice.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, for lost data, or for any claim arising from content you access through a third-party provider or from your use of any such provider. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

10. Termination

You may end this agreement at any time by deleting the application. We may suspend or terminate the licence if you materially breach these terms, in particular by using the app for unlawful access to content. Your rights in respect of an active subscription remain governed by Apple’s terms.

11. Age requirement

The app is intended for users aged 18 or over. It is a general-purpose player and the content available depends entirely on the provider configured on the device. A PIN-protected parental lock is provided in Settings for households that need it.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you under the laws of your country of residence.
